• Lead the team in performing the statutory audit and report to the Director or Partner.
• Handle the client and execute the statutory audit engagements in line with Auditing & Accounting standards.
• Ensure that the financial statements are prepared in accordance with accounting standards, understand & review the internal control systems and perform the audits in accordance to the prescribed methodology of the firm.
• Ensure proper documentation and review the working papers of the audit team to ensure it is in accordance with firm requirements.
• Make sure that the timelines are met while ensuring smooth relations with clients and team members.
• Continuous learning and development.
• Actively involve in team building and networking activities.
Minimum Expectations for the role
• Qualified Chartered Accountant.
• Must have experience a minimum experience of 3 years in handling Statutory audit engagements.
• Excellent technical knowledge to handle Statutory audits independently.
• Extremely good in documentation.
• Strong communication skills and command over spoken and written English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to learn new software’s
• Sincere, team oriented and eager to learn.
• Adhere to highest professional and ethical standards.
• Willing to travel to client's location.
• Strong work ethics the confidentiality of information (in particular).
