Process Overview

Global Finance was set up in 2007 as a part of the CFO Global Delivery strategy to provide offshore delivery to Line of Business and Enterprise Finance functions. The capabilities hosted include Accounts Payable, General Accounting & Reconciliations, Management Reporting & Analysis, Research & Analytics, Financial Transaction Processing, Finance Systems Support & Regulatory reporting. Over the years, the scope of Global Finance has been expanded to include operations for other enterprise control functions like Human Resources and Risk and Compliance.

CFO Change Automation team, which is part of CFO COO group is involved in involved in various analytics, automation and reporting & governance needs that helps the CFO group analyze and address key challenges & provide relevant solutions using ET or any other relevant technologies. The team provides deep dive analysis by deploying analytics and data mining tools like SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, Workiva etc. as well as is involved in setting up automated solutions for complex BAU processes.

Job Description

CFO Change Automation team aims in driving opportunity assessment, prioritization, and process automation & governance across all verticals of CFO.

In support of CFO Change objectives this position will be responsible for managing the delivery of complex automation solutions. His expertise will be to bridge the gap between business needs & designing technical solutions coupled with his efficiency in ET.

This person will be responsible for assisting business teams to implement automated solutions . This person should have a hands on experience in emerging tools to be used in process optimization efforts including building out Strategies, Analytics & Process automation.

This initiative execution/ business integration role will require the individual to manage, and deliver end to end Automation initiatives. This individual will get significant exposure to senior stakeholders across CFO working on Automation projects and to communicate project progress, governance etc

Responsibilities
• Effectively manage the end to end delivery of Automation projects
• Ensure proper documentation of business requirements, process flows, design and other business analysis deliverables
• Developing high quality deliverables with clearly articulated executive summaries and key messages.
• Strong knowledge in data warehousing concepts ,Alteryx, Tableau, Workiva, VB, SQL, Data Modeling and other newly upcoming technologies.
• Supporting the development of an automation opportunity assessment framework and an associated automation tool selection criteria to ensure right tools are applied to the right opportunities

Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree ( preferably in a finance)

Post Graduate (MBA – Finance or equivalent)

Certifications If Any

Technical certifications in Workiva platform and RPA tool like UiPath, Alteryx Advanced and Tableau preferred

Experience Range

4-7 years

Foundational skills
• Must have intermediate to advanced knowledge of tools such as UiPath, Alteryx and Tableau, Workiva, Power pivot, Visual Basic, SQL and others and have at least 4-7 years of relevant experience in analytics, automation and reporting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is critical
• Experience of working on multiple projects concurrently with tight and changing deadlines
• Good documentation skills to capture test results and report them to onshore process team
• Good analytical skills and ability identify/raise questions
• Ability to understand discussions across various levels of stakeholders/support partners

Desired Skills
• Excellent understanding with other programming languages such as SQL, Python and VBA will be strongly preferred
• Strong collaboration and relationship management skills to drive change
• Prior experience with either of self-service tools such as UiPath (RPA), Alteryx and Tableau, Power pivot, Workiva and others
• Proven ability to work with system tools in complex environments and good understanding of business

Work Timings

Flexible between 11:30 am to 8:30 pm or 12:30 pm to +:30 pm
