Position : Assistant Manager - AC System (Engineering & Design)Job location : GurgaonSalary : 16 LPA
About the Role:
• Responsible for pre-bid engineering work, including feasibility studies and preliminary design work.
• Preparation and Finalization of BOQ for AC Electrical system during Pre-bid and project phase.
• Preparation of plant layouts. Prepare in-house drawings and technical specifications for AC Electrical system.
• Perform design calculations, equipment selection and sizing, and review drawings and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including project managers, Electrical contractors, and equipment vendors, to ensure project requirements are met. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams during construction and commissioning phases.
• Conduct site visits and work with project teams to identify design issues and develop solutions.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes and standards.
• Manage the review process for all AC design packages, ensuring quality, accuracy, and completeness of documentation.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends, developments, and best practices.
• Engineering innovations.
• Maintaining project engineering records.
Candidate’s Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in solar project design and engineering, with a focus on AC electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices, including system design, equipment selection and sizing, and safety standards.
• Strong understanding of HT equipment.
• Knowledge of IS/IEC codes and industry practices.
• Presentable personality with impressive verbal & written communication skills.
• High level of integrity & professionalism.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced organizational environment.
• Knowledge of latest technologies.
• Knowledge of Software skills like Google Sketch Up, Google Earth, AutoCAD, MS office and other design software.
