Job Description
The sales enablement team (SE Team) engages with various front office stake holders across Sales, Marketing, Business Operations and Delivery thereby picking up projects that bring in efficiencies in all front office business processes. Additionally, it is on a journey of establishing a data driven decision making and is looking to get a manager in their team to drive projects. The role entails collaboration with a wide variety of stakeholders across functional areas of Sales, Sales Support, Bid & Commercial, Customer Success, Product teams and Service Operations teams.
Purpose of your Role
As Salesforce Administrator, you’ll play a vital role at Tata Communications. We are looking for a proactive individual that can help us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback and designing best practice solutions. Our Salesforce user experience is of great importance to us, therefore the Salesforce Administrator should enjoy all aspects of user management including support tickets, training, and designing solutions with user satisfaction a priority.
We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, who can understand both our current setup and our business objectives, to quickly identify areas of improvement. You should be comfortable with change management and governance, as well as communicating, prioritizing, and managing all aspects of a Salesforce project. The ideal candidate will be happy liaising with stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to translate technical information into layman’s terms, clearly explaining design options and their potential impact.
To ensure success as a Salesforce administrator, you should possess extensive knowledge of Salesforce system administration and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Salesforce administrators ensure that their Salesforce expertise translates into optimized sales department operations.
You will be accountable for (Key Responsibilities)
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
• Provide functional expertise from Salesforce tool & platform perspective to help drive org wide digital transformation initiatives.
• Work closely with Sales and Business Operation teams to align business needs and finalize requirements for new automation asks & enhancements.
• Keep a track of latest salesforce market developments and new feature sets and help implement for user groups to support business needs.
• Review current tools & processes to identify opportunities for automation, improvement and strengthening any gap areas that lead to inefficiencies in Sales cycle, revenue loss or audit/complaisance issues
• Solve business problems by customizing the Salesforce Platform. Build and configure Salesforce solutions to deliver business value.
• Manage and oversee all change requests & tickets from user groups and ensure timely resolution & implementation
• Analyze Data & help prepare executive views with insights for leadership & management
Secondary Roles and Responsibilities
• Proof of Concepts on new salesforce technologies & features
• Prepare & Provide training and support to users on current and new workflows & system implementations
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Good knowledge of Telecom Product portfolios, tools and processes
• Hands-on experience in managing system development project lifecycle (Agile methodology) right from business requirement formulation into technical solutions to delivering through system implementation
• SFDC understanding & hand on experience – Administrator Certification
• Strong analytical and time management skills coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision backed by ability to manage a team.
Qualifications
• Min. 4-6 years of experience on Salesforce & Sales tools as a Business Analysis
• Graduate (B.Tech or Engineer in Telecommunications preferred
