Assistant Manager - Collections
Job description
Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to manage and lead field collections for our retail lending portfolio. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience in managing teams, handling delinquency, and driving recovery performance in their assigned geography.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee field collections for personal loans, business loans, and LAP.
• Manage on-roll and off-roll collection executives and agencies.
• Drive collection efforts across early and late buckets (0–180+ DPD).
• Conduct field visits for high-value and hard bucket cases as required.
• Monitor daily collection performance and implement action plans for recovery.
• Collaborate with legal teams on escalation, litigation, and repossession cases.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards (RBI, internal SOPs).
• Maintain accurate MIS and reporting dashboards for management.
• Engage regularly with internal teams (Credit, Risk, Ops) to resolve issues.
Candidate Requirements:
• 7–15 years of core experience in field collections within NBFC, Fintech, or Banking.
• Proven experience in handling large teams and agency/vendor management.
• Strong understanding of collections strategy across DPD buckets.
• Well-versed with recovery norms, legal processes, and local market challenges.
• Language proficiency:
• Ahmedabad – Gujarati, Hindi
• Graduation is mandatory; Post-graduation or certifications in credit/collections are a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
