Assistant Manager - Credit & Operations
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
• On-boarding lending partners by understanding their Products and requirements in a quick and seamless manner.
• Preparing reports that explain the degree of risk involved in extending credit and strategizing ways to mitigate the risks
• Present analysis, findings, and recommendations to managers, especially findings on portfolio performance
• Develop and prepare spreadsheets and models to support analysis of new and existing credit rule engine using regional, sector-specific, environmental, and other financial data
• Documenting Credit Risk policies by keeping them updated with the aim of building strong credit rule engine by analyzing the trends and anticipating projections based on the exiting data
• Making sure that the lending partners are up to date with the company’s lending protocols
• Formulating, executing, and monitoring processes to facilitate lending with adherence to new and existing guidelines and internal company policies.
• Conducting internal audit of lending partners to keep a track on the processes being followed and to sort out the deviations if any found
• Interacting with internal teams to provide solutions to lending partners in a coordinated and timely manner.
• Handling escalation with external stakeholders to manage crisis situations and to come up with efficient operational solutions for the team.
Key Requirements:
• 1-2 years of minimum work experience, preferably in the Fintech/NBFC space.
• Ability to make solid decisions with incomplete data.
• Ability to work hard on multiple projects and long hours on difficult problems.
• Great communication and people skills.
• Quick learner and ability to adapt to a fast paced environment.
• Highly organized in meticulous note-taking and has a superhuman ability to multi-task.
• Willing to go outside their comfort zone and take up new challenges
