We are looking to hire an Assistant Manager CTI – Unilever Professional in our Home Care South Asia team based in Mumbai:
Home Care (HC) is a very dynamic category that is growing fast and has a very ambitious growth plan. The Unilever Professional business unit (B2B) has an ambitious plan entering the Indian market and grow up to 50 m Euro by 2026.
In R&D we design products with the people who use them and our clean future ambition at the heart. We create superior and affordable products for the B2B channel with the aim to reduce the complexity of the cleaning process, making it safer for the operator and more sustainable for the planet.
We are looking for a Home Care UPro CTI lead to build the operator insights for India and use these insights to develop winning communications for UPro through claims and product demos (Knowledge based selling / KBS).
This role:
In this role you will be responsible for deepening our understanding of the people who use professional cleaning products and driving a channel specific approach to communicating our product technology and benefits to those operators. You will combine the full power of product technology with impactful and targeted communication to bring our superior products to life in engaging and compelling ways.

Expect to:
• Lead the operator understanding program providing operator insights and translate of the same into product design, claims (which is the product promise) and demos to maximize the impact of technology opportunity for the business.
• Lead the technical delivery of operator centric claims, developing technical support of product claims and writing claim support dossiers.
• Lead content creation for KBS (Knowledge Based Selling) to be landed with multiple stakeholders for the product both internal and external.
• Be responsible for the technical performance testing to support the UPro projects with clear data and recommendations for product development in innovation and communication.
• Partner across R&D to translate the operator pain points into technical action standards against which products can be designed, developed, and measured.
• Partner with UPro global CTI to develop & implement relevant appraisal methodologies including statistical analysis.
• Analyse key competitor claims and technology/product performance to identify possible gaps and opportunities.
All about you:
• Around 5 years in B2B industry worked on home care products like laundry detergent and surface cleaning.
• Technical background (chemistry, chemical engineer, etc), with experience in lab work and in innovation projects.
• Track record for developing clear communications.
• A creative approach to problem solving, always looking for a new way to deliver.
• Ability to work on a variety of R&D projects with multi-functional and multi-cultural team.
• Fluent English (excellent writing and verbal skills)
• Action oriented and a bias for action.
Organization structure:
• Reporting to Sr. R&D Manager
• Skip reporting to R&D Director
• No direct subordinates
