As a Marketplace Account Manager at Ergode, you play a pivotal role in driving growth and profitability through our presence on various ecommerce marketplaces. Your core responsibilities include: • Account Ownership: Take ownership of designated marketplace accounts, including Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and others, to maximize sales, revenue, and profitability. • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies, with a strong emphasis on achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets. • Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with our digital marketing team to run Amazon Sponsor Ads, coupon promotions, keyword optimizations, and participate in events like Lightning Deals and Prime Day to boost sales for our assigned brands. • Profitability Management: Oversee the budget vs. spend on Amazon & other marketplaces digital marketing activities, ensuring targeted profitability by maintaining healthy CTR, CPC, ACos, and TCos for the assigned brands. • Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong business relationships with account managers, exploring opportunities to reduce costs through ongoing eCommerce shipping cost analysis, optimization, and improving standard operating processes. • Catalogue Management: Ensuring accurate listing of supplier’s catalogue across all marketplaces by coordinating with internal sourcing & listing team while maintaining compliance with marketplaces restricted products policies. Qualifications: To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). • 3+ years of experience in eCommerce management, preferably within the North American marketplace landscape (Amazon, Walmart, eBay). • Strong understanding of marketplace selling strategies, algorithms, and best practices.
