Job Description
The Event Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate events such as conferences, trade shows, and special occasions. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of event management principles and practices, with proven experience in logistics, vendor coordination, and budget management.
• Develop and Execute Event Plans: Create and implement event plans aligned with company goals and objectives to ensure a successful outcome.
• Manage Event Logistics: Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including selecting venues, coordinating catering, arranging transportation, and ensuring security measures are in place.
• Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with vendors to ensure the seamless delivery of services and materials required for the event.
• Budget Management: Control the event budget by tracking expenses and ensuring that costs remain within the allocated budget.
• Staff Recruitment and Management: Recruit, train, and manage event staff to ensure efficient operation and high-quality service during the event.
• Evaluate and Improve: Assess the success of each event, gather feedback, and provide recommendations for future improvements.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field
• 3 years of experience in event management, emphasizing operations, logistics, and vendor coordination
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of event management principles and best practices..
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
