Smile Foundation is a non-governmental organization based in New Delhi, India. It was established in 2002 and benefitting over 15,00,000 underprivileged children, youth, women and their families every year, through 400 live welfare projects on subjects such as education, healthcare, youth employability and women empowerment, across 25 states of India. Adopting a life cycle approach to development, Smile Foundation focuses its interventions on children, their families and the community.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To work as an independent accountant for the project.
• To process the payment as per Financial Policy
• Ensure timely payment to vendors, staff advances and claims.
• To make book keeping of the records
• Co-ordination with Staff and Vendor’s
• Bank Reconciliation statements and other reconciliation on a monthly basis.
• Scanned of Bills Monthly
• Knowledge of income Tax and other Compliance is added advantage.
• Ledger Scrutiny
• Maintain book of accounts in accounting software.
• Settlement of training programme and travel expenses
• Advances for tours and settlement of accounts after tours.
• Reconciles bank Accounts and Trial Balance on a monthly basis;
• Timely compliance with the requirements for complying with T.D.S., Professional Tax(10BD) and Provident Fund etc;
• Will be required to visit to field area for project related work under implementation by the organization.
Educational Qualifications, Skill, and Competencies
• Experience –Minimum 3 to 4 Years
• Qualification- B.COM & M.COM
• Knowledge-On TDS, FCRA, GST (Basic)
• Technical-XL, Power Point, Tally ERP +, Microsoft Word
• Persons having worked in the N.G.O sector will be preferred.
• Must be proficient in maintenance of accounts, TDS, PF, and Profession Tax.
• Should be capable of handling/filing returns under Income Tax (10BD), P.F and Profession Tax
