We got listed targeting SME IPO in Aug – 2021 on the NSE Emerge platform with a market cap of 2000 Cr (as of Mar’24) and became NPCI- an approved Merchant Payment Service Provider, acquiring merchants and facilitating payment. NPST has a marquee clientele having 10 Banks and 30+ PAPG and Merchants.

What will you do

We are seeking an Assistant Manager, Finance and Accounts, to support our Finance Manager in overseeing the financial operations of the company. This pivotal role will involve managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to facilitate informed business decisions.

Job responsibilities:
• Banking and Treasury: Managing multiple bank accounts for different business needs, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and service providers, managing banking relationships, regularly reconciling bank statements with company records.
• Accounts Payable (AP): Verify the accuracy of invoices by checking details such as amounts, payment terms, and compliance with purchase orders or contracts, obtain necessary approvals from relevant departments or managers before processing invoices for payment, communicate with vendors regarding payment status.
• Accounts Receivable (AR): Create and issue invoices to customers based on the terms of contracts or agreements. This includes detailing services provided, amounts due, and payment terms, send invoices to customers through appropriate channels (e.g., email, postal service, electronic invoicing systems), Prepare and review accounts receivable aging reports to monitor overdue invoices and outstanding balances.
• Taxation: Ensure compliance with the Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations, including registration, invoicing, and filing of GST returns, Comply with corporate income tax regulations, including the calculation of advance tax, TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), Preparing details for file the monthly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-2B, GSTR-9) accurately and on time, Preparing details for the file quarterly TDS returns (Form 26Q for non-salaries) and issue TDS certificates to employees and vendors.
• Internal Audit: Coordinating internal audit activities and ensuring compliance with internal controls, develop a comprehensive audit plan that outlines the scope, objectives, and timeline of the audit. Prioritize high-risk areas and key processes, Allocate appropriate resources, including personnel and tools, to conduct the audit effectively, Identify and investigate any potentially fraudulent activities or discrepancies in financial records.
• Employee Reimbursement: Managing employee reimbursements and expense claims as per company policy.
• Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• MIS: Use spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel for ad-hoc analysis and reporting, leveraging functions, formulas, and pivot tables, Schedule and distribute regular MIS reports (e.g., monthly, quarterly) to management and relevant stakeholders, Present MIS reports to senior management for review and discussion, highlighting key findings and insights.
• Compliance: Assisting in maintaining compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Data Management: Maintaining accurate financial records and databases.
• Cost Control: Monitoring and analyzing costs to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• System Improvement: Assisting in enhancing financial systems and processes.
• Client and Vendor Relations: Managing relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.

What are we looking for:
• Proven experience 5-7 years in a similar role, with a strong understanding of financial processes and regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software (Tally Prime) and MS Office, Advance Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
• Entrepreneurial skills, ability to observe, innovate and own your work.
• Detail-oriented and organized with strong time management skills.
• Influencing skills and the ability to create positive working relationships with team members at all levels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education Qualification – BCOM/MCOM/Inter CA/MBA.

Total Experience – 5-7 years

Industry - IT/Software/BFSI/ Banking /Fintech

Work arrangement – 5 days working from office

Location – Thane (Wagle Estate)
