Job Description
As a Quality Control professional in the Electrical Equipment Manufacturing industry with 7-10 years of experience, your role will involve monitoring and ensuring in-process quality during manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for conducting regular in-process audits, identifying non-conformities, and ensuring compliance with quality management systems and international standards. Additionally, you will lead root cause analysis using tools like 8D and 5-Why, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurring issues. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams will be crucial in addressing customer complaints by initiating internal investigations and improving quality systems.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and control plans
- Generate quality dashboards for management
- Support New Product Development (NPD) and pilot trials from a quality standpoint
- Train shop floor personnel on work instructions, visual standards, and quality tools
- Lead or support continual improvement initiatives such as Kaizen, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automobile Engineering
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical component manufacturing
- Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, MSA, SPC
- Experience with ERP/SAP systems and quality modules
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
