Assistant Manager - Legal
Responsibilities
• Legal research and analysis on pertinent laws, regulations, and legal issues.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing (including mark up) of Bid Documents, draft contracts, MoUs, financing agreements and other legal documents.
• Conducting Legal risk assessment
• Assist in the management and resolution of legal disputes and litigation.
• Maintain accurate and current legal records and documentation.
• Collaborate with external legal counsel as necessary.
• Ensure organizational compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide sound legal advice and support to various departments within the organization.
Qualifications
Education Qualification:
• LL.B./ BA LL.B. degree from a reputed University
• Familiarity with Environmental (incl. Forest Conservation) Laws, Insolvency Laws
• Knowledge of FIDIC Contracts would be a plus
Experience:
• 2-3 years of experience as a Lawyer preferably in a Top tier Law Firm (CAM/AZB/SAM/JSA/Trilegal).
• Desirable: experience in Arbitration and other forms of dispute resolution
