Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Manager in Mechanical Engineering, based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area.
The Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing mechanical operations and maintenance, coordinating with teams to ensure the smooth functioning of machinery and equipment in compliance with safety standards, and optimizing mechanical systems.
Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, implementing solutions for operational efficiency, and maintaining documentation for audits and reporting.
Qualifications
Proficiency in mechanical engineering principles, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical issues
Experience in systems optimization and process enhancement related to mechanical operations
Strong skills in data analysis and technical reporting
Knowledge of safety standards, compliance practices, and reliable equipment testing procedures
Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver results under strict deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Experience in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sector is an advantage
Proficient in using engineering software tools (such as CAD/CAM) and project management software
