Description
Pre-Requisites:
• Bachelors Degree holder in Mathematics / Statistics / Economics / Commerce / Hospitality Management or a Masters in Mathematics / Statistics / Economics / Hospitality
• 2 years’ experience in Revenue Management and Distribution or as a data analyst in an establishment of repute
• Knowledge of hotel Revenue Systems preferred - Opera PMS, Synxis CRS, Ideas RMS, Alternate Distribution Platforms, OTA Extranets, Metasearch and Global Distribution System
• Advance Computer Skills – Microsoft Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word (mandatory)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Business Performance
• Provide daily, weekly, monthly MIS
• Regular chain level performance analysis and identification of opportunity areas
• Develop wireframe for F&B data analysis and Total Revenue Management
• Support data and presentation requirements for formulation of Revenue Management strategies, projects, budgets, forecasts
• Assist in monitoring and measuring efficacy of business plans of hotels, identify gaps, opportunity areas and measure and report progress over time
• Monitor and report performance on competitive indices on a daily, weekly, monthly basis and maintain robust competitive MIS
• Study, monitor and present developments in the tourism industry, and in the field of Revenue Management for innovations and thought leadership, and assist in adoption for the enterprise where applicable
Business Excellence
• Refresh and maintain all Revenue Management Process and document all Standard Operating Procedures
• Identify, collate and document best practices to be approved and scaled at chain level
• Facilitate effective usage and conduct periodic audits all of available tools in compliance with Revenue Management processes such as Revenue Management Systems, Business Intelligence, Competitive Benchmarks and more
• Monitor KPIs that govern effective process execution at unit level like forecast accuracy
• Develop and maintain RM leadership scorecard for all round performance excellence Special Projects
• Assist Corporate Director Revenue Management in various chain wide initiatives and projects
• Assist in special projects for TRM and to support organization's growth plans
• Build analytical models based on inward and outward looking data to identify potential revenue opportunities
• Regularly identify and research emerging macro market trends, economic factors, demand drivers, potential threats that impact business in the short term, mid term and long term window
