Job Description
• Good Knowledge of Sheetmetal, welding process and Sheetmetal press/forming processes, Sound knowledge of priming and plating process.
• Identify internal & external customer needs and take concrete steps to address these needs at supplier
• Ensure adherence to systems and procedures as specified
• Analysis of the issues reported by internal Customer as well as field issues and initiating concrete actions at suppliers end.
• Solve problems / make improvement with the help of statistical tools and drive continual PPM Reduction
• Compilation of meaningful MIS reports for the senior levels
• Encourage suppliers to achieve Quality Management Systems to ISO/TS accreditation
• Ensures that location targets are executed as per agreed plans
• Help identified suppliers to develop to the desired levels of Quality by auditing and suggesting process improvements
• VPPAP approval for new development components for alternate source/new product /irritant group
• Ensuring first time & every time right product
• Evaluate new Suppliers

General Experience
4-6 years in Automobile working in Supplier Quality Assurance
Critical Experience
Strong technical knowledge – welding process and Sheetmetal press/forming processes, Sound knowledge of priming and plating process.
