Job Description
• Monitor timesheet submission to ensure timely payroll processing
• Export data from the timekeeping systems and prepare the payroll data in excel sheet.
• Track rates, compensation, benefits and deductions, new hire information, and all other details pertaining to employee information
• Maintain database of personnel information and accurate payroll records
• Research, calculate, and issue allowances to expatriate employees; appropriately record allowances based on taxability
• Work alongside the Project Accounting Manager, and international team with payroll processing questions for international employees and field offices
• Prepare On-Boarding documents for new employees
• Maintain reports in Microsoft SharePoint shared drive.
• Respond to team member inquiries on timesheets, benefit deductions, and other payroll matters
• Set up new employees in timekeeping system
• Review and process accurate year-end reporting, such as employee W-2s
• Develop ad hoc reporting as needed
• Additional responsibilities as deemed necessary.
Qualification And Experience
• Graduate with Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience as payroll specialist solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft office and Adobe Acrobat
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and payroll practices
• Experience with international and expatriate employees
• Excellent communication skills
• Understand appropriate taxation of employer paid benefits
• Strong organisational skills, with great attention to confidentiality
