ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Assistant Mechanic to join our dedicated team This full-time position supports the Head Mechanic in maintaining a fleet of turf maintenance equipment, including reel and rotary mowers, utility vehicles and various small engines.
Responsibilities include assisting with routine servicing, minor repairs, parts inventory and keeping the maintenance facility clean and organized. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of mechanical systems, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
The successful candidate will have at least 1–2 years of mechanical experience, preferably in a golf course, landscaping or similar setting. If you enjoy working with your hands and being part of a team that takes pride in keeping our golf courses in peak condition, we’d love to hear from you. Palm Aire is a drug free workplace. QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 1–2 years of mechanical experience (golf course, landscaping, small engine repair, or similar fields preferred)
Basic knowledge of small engine repair, hydraulic systems, and preventative maintenance
Ability to operate and maintain a variety of turf equipment, including mowers and utility vehicles
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Willingness to learn from senior staff and follow established maintenance procedures
Ability to lift 50 lbs, work outdoors in varying conditions, and stand for extended periods
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Dependable, punctual, and a positive team player
