Pay: $17–$18 per hour (based on experience)
Full-Time | In-Person
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager with a minimum of 2–3 years of The UPS Store experience (REQUIRED) to help maintain daily operations and supervise staff at our Kendall location.
This position is ideal for a strong The UPS Store professional who wants to grow into a Store Manager role as the company expands. Promotion opportunities will be based on performance and company growth.
Weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday) is required.
Position Overview
The Owner serves as the primary decision-maker. This role focuses on execution, leadership presence, and maintaining operational standards when the Owner is not in the store.
You will supervise a team of 3 employees and ensure the store operates efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily store operations and workflow
Open and close the store independently
Supervise and support a team of 3 employees
Maintain professional store decorum in owner’s absence
Deliver and enforce strong customer service standards
Process domestic and international shipments accurately
Utilize POS and shipping systems efficiently
Oversee packing, printing, mailbox management, and mail sorting
Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs
Obtain and maintain Notary Certification (if not already certified)
Qualifications (Required)
2–3 years minimum experience at The UPS Store
Strong working knowledge of POS and shipping systems
Ability to lead by example and enforce standards
Open weekend availability
Preferred:
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Previous key holder or leadership experience
