Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning & Coordination:
- Assist in developing and implementing production schedules.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., procurement, logistics) to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Monitor and adjust production schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
2. Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement in production processes and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to develop and implement best practices.
3. Quality Control:
- Ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards.
- Implement and oversee quality control procedures.
- Address and resolve any quality issues that arise during production.
4. Staff Management:
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of production staff.
- Monitor the performance of production workers, providing feedback and coaching as necessary.
- Ensure that all staff adhere to safety and quality standards.
5. Health & Safety:
- Promote and enforce a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
6. Inventory Management:
- Assist in managing inventory levels to ensure that production needs are met without overstocking.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
7. Reporting:
- Prepare and present regular reports on production metrics, including output, efficiency, and any issues encountered.
- Assist in analyzing production data to inform decision-making.
