Job Description
ndus Design School, Ahmedabad is looking for faculty members in the following departments –
1) Communication Design
A candidate with expertise in Animation and a sound knowledge of software of Adobe Creative Suite. Bachelor degree in Communication Design is a must. Preference will be given to candidate with Masters.
2) Fashion Design – A candidate with expertise in Pattern Making and Garment Construction. A sound command of illustration will be an added advantage. Should be a master’s degree holder in a related field and have a teaching experience of at least one year.
3) Interior Design – The candidate should not only hold a minimum of a Masters degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field but also possesses expertise in materials and their application, enabling them to effectively teach subjects such as Material & Construction, Working Drawing, and Services. The candidate should also have a strong inclination towards hands-on work with different materials like wood, metal, etc., allowing them to impart practical knowledge and skills to students. Proficiency in software tools like Sketch Up and the Adobe suite is essential for integrating modern technologies into teaching methods, while familiarity with Rhino and Grasshopper is preferred.
4) Foundation Design – Two vacancies - A graduate in any discipline related to design/fine arts and proficiency in software of Adobe Creative suite. A graduate in any discipline related to design/architecture with knowledge and experience in handling materials.
