Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Assistant Professor to join our academic team at iLEAD, Kolkata, in an on-site capacity. The role involves preparing and delivering lectures, guiding research projects, developing course materials, mentoring students, and participating in curriculum design. Other responsibilities include conducting assessments, staying updated with advancements in the field, and contributing to research publications and academic conferences.
Teach interior design subjects including design principles, materials, furniture, and spatial planning
• Guide students in design projects, studio work, and presentations
• Assist in curriculum delivery, workshops, and design activities
• Support students in developing portfolios and industry exposure
• Stay updated with current trends in interior design
•Knowledge in Estimation & Costing, Vastu etc
Qualifications
• Expertise in teaching and mentoring with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong research, analytical thinking, and academic writing capabilities
• Proficiency in designing and developing course materials and syllabus
• Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and educational technologies
• Prior experience in publishing research or attending academic conferences is highly valued
• Master’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution
• Capability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary academic environment
• Commitment to fostering innovation, leadership, and inclusivity in education
