Job Title: Faculty - Data Science & AIML
Job Type: Full-Time / Visiting basis
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced faculty member to join our institution's Data Science department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and related fields. The faculty member will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses, conducting research, mentoring students, and contributing to the academic community.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver courses in Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, and related fields.
Conduct high-quality research and publish in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
Supervise and mentor students in academic and research activities.
Collaborate with industry partners for research and project opportunities.
Participate in curriculum development and enhancement.
Engage in departmental and institutional service activities.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in Data Science and incorporate them into teaching and research.
Qualifications and Requirements:
A Ph.D. or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Prior teaching experience at the university level is preferably more than 5 years +.
Strong research background with publications in reputed journals/conferences.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and data science tools.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience with Offline, online and hybrid teaching methodologies is an advantage.
Preferred Skills:
Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Industry experience in Data Science projects is a plus.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
