Launched in 2017 by the Government of Telangana, RICH acts as a facilitator and promotes greater collaboration between various entities in the research and innovation space. RICH is a Section 8 Company under Companies Act 2013. RICH is also the Hyderabad Science & Technology (S&T) Cluster, a Mega-Cluster initiative of the Office of Principal Scientific Adviser (PSA) to Government of India. RICH operates in close coordination with the S&T Cluster Apex Committee and the Prime Minister's Science, Technology and Innovation Advisory Council (PM-STIAC).
The Clusters work towards achieving the following broad objectives:
· To increase India’s national & global S&T competitiveness.
· To become regional solution providers for local industry & government.

Job Description:
RICH offers you an exciting opportunity to work as Project Manager- MSME Energy Transition. The current role requires a resource with good understanding of MSME sector and ability to work on the ground with MSME industries and their associations. In this role you would be managing a high visibility project for MSME ministry, funded by World Bank. The project intends to improve performance of MSME industries and catalyse their green transition, oversee project execution, analyse MSME industry performance data, and operationalize efforts for implementing energy transition measures along with MSMEs and other network partners. This is a mission critical role and requires a very dedicated and capable individual who is flexible, able to adapt to a dynamic work environment and handle day to day project execution activities. You would be reporting to the Director of Sustainability at RICH.
The broad roles and responsibilities will be as follows:
• Perform all project management activities including preparing project plans, conducting weekly project reviews, sending regular updates / team communications, managing project timelines and budgets etc.
• Work on regular project documentation, presentations, interim and final project reports.
• Create and conduct awareness sessions about solutions for greening of MSME clusters, government schemes and best practices followed by other MSMEs, along with industry associations.
• Prepare and implement a digital and traditional media communications / outreach plan with support from communications team.
• Clearly understand the problems faced by MSME cluster, define use cases, and organise hackathons / innovation challenges to find innovative solutions to the problems described by MSMEs.
• Work on DPRs and concept note preparation with industry and partners and help MSMEs secure funding from multiple sources
• Present project findings at conferences, seminars and other public forums.
• Project monitoring and impact assessment review and reporting on a regular basis to the funding agency.
• Fulfil and implement any other tasks in consultation with the management at RICH.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of project management experience in the MSME sector.
• Experience in performing Energy Audits, Manufacturing Process Efficiency improvements, and other field work with MSME industries will be highly desirable.
• Knowledge of leveraging government schemes for improving the performance of MSME industries will be highly desirable.
• Ability to work with a diverse team comprising internal and external resources, OEM’s, Vendors, financing institutions, MSMEs, programme managers and business executives etc.
• Excellent networking/collaboration ability, good communication, project management, report writing, impact assessment and presentation skills.
Other:
This role will be based in Hyderabad but will need frequent travel to MSME cluster sites for various project related activities up to 40% of the time. Necessary travel arrangements will be made as and when required.
