Highwater Eatery is an award-winning modern restaurant and wine bar on lower Cuba Street. We are seeking a full-time Restaurant/Bar 2IC Manager to join our team in February 2026.
In this role, you will work closely with the owners and Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and development while leading our Front of House team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in one of Wellington’s premier dining establishments, especially for those looking to advance their career in the industry.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar licensed restaurant or bar.
- Ability to thrive in a busy environment with a positive and professional outlook.
- Strong multitasking skills and a commitment to high level customer service.
- Knowledge of modern food, wine, and cocktails.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
- A current Manager’s Certificate is preferred, but not essential.
