As an Assistant Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and expanding our customer base in Maharashtra and the surrounding region.
Job Description:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop sales strategies and plans for the Ahmedabad region.
• Conduct market research to identify potential customers, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Analyze sales data and performance to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and make necessary adjustments.
Customer Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Understand customer needs provide product information, and offer appropriate solutions.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Business Development:
• Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to acquire new customers.
• Actively seek out and engage with prospective clients through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our products.
Sales Execution and Target Achievement:
• Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively managing the sales process.
• Prepare and deliver sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services to customers.
Team Collaboration and Leadership:
• Collaborate with the sales team, marketing department, and other stakeholders to achieve common goals.
• Provide guidance and support to the sales team members, including training and mentoring.
• Assist the Sales Manager in monitoring team performance and implementing sales strategies.
Reporting and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions in the CRM system.
• Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for management review.
• Provide feedback and market intelligence to the management regarding customer preferences, market trends, and competitor activities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the construction industry or related sectors.
• Strong knowledge of pre-engineered building solutions, roofing cladding, building materials, cold-formed sections, and decking materials.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Self-motivated and target-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the Ahmedabad region.
