At NRC our value for long term client relationships have been well supported by excellent technical and customer care teams to take care of every client’s individual needs.Job Title- Assistant Sales Manager- Chennai- South IndiaWe are looking for an experienced and well-organised candidate to develop and drive the sales of our products in the market. The successful candidate will become the point of reference for colleagues and customers alike, by visiting customers to generate sales revenue for the company as well as acquire new customers to support the growth of the business unit. The position is an excellent opportunity to build a satisfying career in a rapidly growing industry, as well as be the individual responsible for important territories- Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Kerala.ResponsibilitiesManaging sales to both our existing customer base and developing new business opportunities through extensive travel in South India.Develops and drives the sales for the products assigned and be responsible for the profitability and growth; have hands-on connect with the customers to ensure supplies.Maintains productive customer relationships in all accounts through continuous engagement with clients and speedy resolution of issues.Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products.Tracks competition activities and local market trends and adopts appropriate interventions in the market to counter the same;Expands the industrial footprint of NR Colours in the market by continuously developing and cultivating new customers.Should take responsibility and accountability to meet collection targets along with the sales coordination team and actively participate in timely collection of payments from the assigned customers.Report to the Management with a daily sales report which will be reviewed weekly/monthly/quarterly.QualificationsQualifications/RequirementsCandidates with a graduate degree, preferably in Chemistry.Candidates having an MBA degree in sales/marketing will be given a preference.Proven 2-4 year experience in sales; experience as an on field- sales executive in the chemical sector preferably to sell Raw Materials to the Coating/Paint industry will be considered a plus.TRAVEL(MUST)- Minimum 80% of the job will be dedicated to meeting with customers and identifying new business opportunities. This position is neither for work from home nor an office desk job.Good computer skills (MS Office)Proficiency in English and Tamil is a MUST. Excellent verbal and written communication skillsA team player with a high level of dedication.NOTE- THIS IS AN ON FIELD/OUTSIDE AREA SALES JOB. CANDIDATES SHOULD BE ABLE TO TRAVEL EXTENSIVELY
