Location: CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai
CTC: Up to ₹2.4 Lacs per annum
Role Overview:
The Assistant Secretary cum Accountant will be responsible for managing administrative operations, export documentation, member services, and maintaining financial records of the Chamber. The role requires accuracy, coordination skills, and a good understanding of accounting principles. Knowledge of Tally ERP * and GST is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Secretarial Duties:
Approve and process online Certificate of Origin (CoO) documents through the DGFT portal.
Perform manual stamping and verification of export-related documents.
Maintain official records, registers, and membership databases.
Provide member services including issuance of certificates, membership renewals, and query handling.
Coordinate with exporters and stakeholders for documentation support.
Assist in organizing seminars, trade fairs, and Chamber events.
Support senior management in day-to-day correspondence and administrative activities.
Accounting & Financial Duties:
Prepare bills, invoices, and vouchers and maintain accounts in Tally ERP 9.
Handle receipts, payments, banking transactions, and petty cash.
Manage membership fee collections and renewals.
Candidate Profile
Graduate in Commerce or equivalent qualification.
Proficient in Tally ERP * and GST (Mandatory).
1–2 years of experience in administration, accounting, or export documentation preferred.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Detail-oriented, reliable, and well-organized.
Work Timings
Regular working hours: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
