The Office of the DeKalb County Solicitor-General, led by Solicitor-General Donna Coleman-Stribling, prosecutes misdemeanor crimes, including domestic violence, elder abuse, and drunk driving, in DeKalb County, GA. Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Solicitor at the DeKalb County Solicitor-General's Office in Decatur, GA. The Assistant Solicitor will handle tasks related to law, conveyancing, labor and employment law, commercial real estate, and family law on a day-to-day basis to support the prosecution of misdemeanor crimes and county ordinance violations.
Qualifications
• Law skills
• Conveyancing and Real Estate Law knowledge
• Labor and Employment Law expertise
• Family Law experience
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
