Assistant Technical Manager
JOB TITLE: Assistant Manager TA
LOCATION: Morbi, Gujarat
REPORTING TO: Manager – After Sales Service & Spares
JOB ROLE: We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Manager – Technical Assistance to support and enhance the efficiency of our technical operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, leadership, excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role is pivotal in optimizing our service delivery, strengthening customer satisfaction and promoting technical excellence across our operations.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
• Drive, supervise and implement robust technical standards, systems and operational processes.
• Escalate and resolve critical technical issues in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Conduct market surveys on machine performance, identify and analyze technical issues, compile data and communicate findings to the Superiors and Management.
• Coordinate effectively with cross-functional departments such as Spare Parts and Accounts.
• Manage toolboxes, FOC (Free of Cost) materials and coordinate the FOC list with the Spare Parts department.
• Analyze customer complaints and collaborate with the Sales team to enhance customer offerings and solutions.
• Perform regular customer visits to build rapport and gauge satisfaction levels.
AGE: 28 onwards
EXPERIENCE: 8 years and above
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential: BE in Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical or Electronics (B.E./B.Tech).
Desirable: (B.E./B.Tech).
ESSENTIAL:
• 8 years and above Proven experience in engineering within industrial machinery, ideally in ceramic manufacturing processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Proficiency in decision-making, particularly in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with teams and clients.

• Ability to adapt to changing situations and demonstrate resilience under stress.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities to manage multiple projects effectively.

EXTENT OF DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY: Authorize to take decisions in machines and service call. Major decisions to be taken in consultation with Superior & MD.
