Job Description
Employee Relation will be an important and critical function within HR responsible to create and drive the right culture and creating a safe environment for Employees. The function is responsible for end-to-end management of all Employee Relations activities including Grievance, Disciplinary, labour litigation management, Prevention of ****** Harassment cases & review of related policies/processes/guidelines, regulatory reporting & statutory compliance activities wherever applicable.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
· Support ER Head in coaching business leaders and other stakeholders in developing solutions which enable harmonious and zero risk ER strategies
· Assist in implementing People and ER Strategy initiatives and work streams.
· Understand and interpret the ER framework and execute the same to the last mile of the organization
· Work with Business and HR colleagues to assist business in execution of ER/IR Strategies to bring in changes into day-to-day working practices and organisation culture so that high performance becomes the norm
· Implement and provide feedback around the employee relations environment for the business.
· Support HR Colleagues to handle performance issues within the ER framework
· Lead in association with L&D and OD team to infuse and spread the right corporate culture through campaigns and initiatives
· Periodically review all ER policies, procedures in line with regulations & group directives
· Create awareness on employee relations and eventually develop a culture of manager self-service in this area of specialization
· Work with Key Stakeholders to develop a culture within the Functional Business Unit that underpins Employer of Choice brand.
· Handle all POSH related matters in line with the POSH Act 2013. Ensure governance in these matters are adhered to per the requirements of the Act.
· Understand the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture and ensure that the Bank is compliant with relevant regulations and internal policies and procedures.
· Assist management with the execution of compliance programs and audits pertain to ER&IR stream.
· MIS reporting of all ER matters with relevant stakeholders including regulatory compliance requirement in a timely manner
· Keep abreast with the changing landscape of all ER / Labour matters in the industry
· Responsible for driving the right culture within the Organization in matters related to Employee 'Risk and Governance'.
· Conduct periodical training to new hires, first time managers and POSH committee on Employee Relations
Other requirements
· Postgraduate with HR / Legal / Labour Laws qualification preferred
· Minimum of 15 years of experience
· Experience in Employee Relations in Banking/NBFC, Tech, Service industries is preferred.
· Ability to think strategically and should have good analytical skills
· Excellent interpersonal, presentation & communication skills
· Full range of distinctive capabilities and at least 70% of technical capabilities in employee relations.
· Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
· Detailed knowledge of external ER best practice, understands and challenges ER policy, direction, and practice
