Job Description Summary:
• Follows established written procedures and guidelines, provides technical and analytical support in a global markets operations support function for one or more operations product areas.
• Uses established techniques to analyze and resolve complex operations support problems/initiatives requiring exception handling and/or coordination of multiple operational and/or product/services specialists to resolve.
• May assist in managing projects and/or introduction of new initiatives, systems, products and services and processes coordination across multiple operations functions.
• Employees will have college degree (Associates or higher) or comparable work experience.
Required skills include: expert Excel knowledge, detail orientation, ability to manage multiple priorities and multi task, excellent time management and prioritization skills, with ability to meet tight deadlines, ability and willingness to continuously learn on the job, ability to problem-solve and take ownership of process improvements, ability to work in a team environment, excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate with various stakeholders.
Desired skills include: Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar major preferred and a basic understanding of and/or experience in financial service industry. To be used for employees in Global Markets only.
Your background
• 4-5 years’ experience in AML/KYC and compliance roles.
• Relevant experience on Client Due Diligence review on Corporate clients, Knowledge of APAC regulations & prior Onboarding / Periodic Review (Refresh) (preferred)
• Control focused mindset and good understanding of regulatory and reputational risks
• Excellent communications skills and ability to present to audience
• Ability to work under pressure in a team environment
• Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders and deal with people with different experiences and backgrounds and be able to get work done.
• Self-motivated and assertive.
What you can expect
The Global Banking & Markets Anti-Money Laundering (GBAM AML) organization is a central control function which governs, facilitates, and oversees the global end-to-end GBAM AML program across all GBAM businesses and jurisdictions through implementation of processes and controls to effectively managing AML and economic sanctions risks. The team performs AML Know-Your-Client/Client Due Diligence (KYC/CDD) and covers refresh (periodic review) as its core activity. Additionally, there is a dedicated team responsible in reaching out to clients for KYC/CDD documentations in order to fulfil its due diligence requirements. The team also covers internal/external audits, remediation of AML KYC/CDD of bank clients.
We are looking for an AML Refresh Analyst to join the team.
What you will do
• As part of India Control function, review refresh requirements for India jurisdiction in line with India CIP/CDD Procedures to ensure adequacy and accuracy before the requirements are sent to the client.
• Liaise with sales/ clients to obtain and validate correct documentation.
• Performs documentations review collected through sales/clients to ensure all Refresh requirements are met.
• Support business with KYC related queries and requests.
• Creation and updation of records in Central KYC Registry.
• Ensure all India regulatory requirements related to KYC are adhered to.
• Participate in Remediation, internal/external Audits
• Maintain KYC records and documents for regulatory adherence.
