Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Roles & Responsibilities
• The individual will be responsible for supporting central functions such as coordinating and reviewing office administration and procedures , service reporting and for general department morale, such as planning for and organizing year-long staff engagement activities, celebrations, staff training, staff onboarding/offboarding, orientation etc.
• The individual will be working with the SG Communications team, to align communications for the department in DTI.
• This includes activities such as executing events, creating engaging articles or email communications, newsletters, as well as planning for communications campaigns to create awareness on our department's goals and initiatives.
• The individual will be working with SG Learning team, to roll out and operationalize learning programmes to support the department's goals and initiatives, improving adoption and utilisation of the changes implemented through the provision of essential knowledge and training to users.

Requirements

Central Functions and Office Management:
• Work with central function teams such as Finance, HR, GSMC and GPS for matters relating to the Department, eg. headcount, charge-out, staff onboarding / offboarding, procurement, newsletters etc.
• Support, plan and deliver events, such as Senior Leadership engagement sessions and walkabouts.
• Participate actively in the planning and execution of department events, such as staff engagement events and Townhalls, rewards and recognitions, celebrations etc.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Communications:
• Work with SG Communications team to support, plan and deliver events, such as the annual internal Tech conference.
• Liaise and manage vendors for event execution and coordinate collateral, swags and planning etc.
• Design, write and edit timely, engaging and original content for the department's internal channels including emails, intranet and website updates.
• Maintain department SharePoint sites by building content rich pages and ensuring timely updates.
• Maintain knowledge of all communications team procedures; stay informed and up to date on the activities and achievements of the team.

Learning:
• Working with the SG Learning team to operationalize learning programmes, provide support in communication of the courses offered through course catalogue, follow up on course registration and confirmation, track attendance/completion, logistical support in organizing training sessions, provide support to learners and gather feedback.
• Track improvement actions from feedback and follow through till closure.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in information technology / Computer Science / Communications / Marketing / Graphic design or equivalent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to communicate technical ideas and concepts to non-technical individuals.
• Creativity/ good judgement to deliver complex messages in simple ways.
• Good working attitude with strong work ethics and commitment to meeting deadlines.
• Well-organised, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and priorities work.
• Committed to learn fast, adaptable and passionate to deliver quality work as a team.
