Job Description .
Perform Storage Operations support for Storage infrastructure
Operations support require weekend and off-hour support, as well as on call rotations
Individual will provide Operations as well as day-to-day support of a global SAN and NAS infrastructure including system monitoring, troubleshooting and problem resolution
Implementation of system maintenance activities such as hardware, firmware and software upgrade to maintain currency and stability of the environment
Decommissioning activities require detailed planning and project management skills insuring all aspects of the implementation and operational support model are in place before production handoff.
Provides technical leadership, applies authoritative subject matter expertise and works with all necessary parties (customer, client, engineering, application support and vendors etc.) to investigate and resolve problems in a timely manner.
