Technology Infrastructure part of the Global Technology & Operations organization, consists of more than 6,600 employees worldwide. With a presence in more than 35 countries, TI designs, builds and operates end-to-end technology infrastructure solutions and manages critical systems and platforms across the bank. TI delivers industry-leading infrastructure products and services to the company's employees, customers and clients around the world.
Job Description .
Perform Storage Operations support for Storage infrastructure. Operations support require weekend and off-hour support, as well as on call rotations. Individual will provide Operations as well as day-to-day support of a global SAN and NAS infrastructure including system monitoring, troubleshooting and problem resolution. Implementation of system maintenance activities such as hardware, firmware and software upgrade to maintain currency and stability of the environment. Decommissioning activities require detailed planning and project management skills insuring all aspects of the implementation and operational support model are in place before production handoff.
Provides technical leadership, applies authoritative subject matter expertise and works with all necessary parties (customer, client, engineering, application support and vendors etc.) to investigate and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Responsibilities .
Demonstrated SME knowledge and proficiency in performing storage Operations support functions, as well as solid troubleshooting and performance analysis skills. The ability to support various platforms including EMC, Netapp, Cisco, Brocade and HP. Working knowledge of various replication technologies including SANcopy, MirrorView, SRDF, BCV, Global Mirror, Snapmirror, Snapshot etc. Experience with various storage architectures including EMC VMAX3, Powermax, VNX, Cellera, Centera, XtremeIO, HP3 PAR, Netapp ONTAP7/+, CDOT, Cisco, Brocade storage devices. Solid knowledge of Fiber Channel SANs infrastructures including fabric architecture, zoning, LUN security, switches, directors and routers.
