Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Manage and monitor CSR grant portfolio in India for Bank of America and Bank of America Securities India
• Facilitate grant-making cycle - planning & execution
• Source, screen and evaluate grant proposals
• Prepare budgets and allocations
• Manage grant approvals and oversee payments process including required documentation
• Manage NGO relationships
• Work with monitoring agency to track grant progress
• Support governance process for both Bank of America legal entities - CSR committee & Board meetings, managing policies, annual plans and charters, annual reporting, public disclosures on website in line.
• Support ESG communications internally & externally - talking points, presentations, thought leadership articles
• Manage employee engagement leveraging Global/regional strategy and working with regional teams on implementation
• Manage relationships with volunteer leads, supporting annual budgets and plans
• Provide guardrails and guidance for local market employee engagement
• Support regional campaigns
Qualifications:
• 5-8 years of experience in philanthropy, grant-making or CSR
• Strong knowledge of trends across development sector and local regulatory landscape
• Ability to work with legal documents and a good understanding of the India CSR regulation essential
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, collaboration and influencing skills
• Experience interacting at a senior leadership level
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and other business technologies
• Project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities at once
