Job Description
Job Duties & responsibilities
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and trend analysis on performance indicators
• Perform variance analysis and investigate discrepancies, providing explanations and recommendations to management.
• Preparation of annual audited financials (under Indian GAAP)
• Assist in the preparation of internal management reports and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Participate in the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors and providing necessary documentation.
• Research and interpret technical accounting pronouncements and implement new accounting standards.
• Support the development and maintenance of financial reporting systems and processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial data.
• Capital adequacy preparation and analysis – under BASEL-3 and Pillar 3 reporting.
• Preparation of returns including DSB Returns, Form-A, etc.
Required Experience
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in the Finance Department of a bank / non-banking finance company in similar capacity.
• Well versed with banking products, accounting norms and regulations.
• Knowledge of statements and returns relating to the Financial Control function.
Education / Preferred Qualifications
• Chartered Accountant
