Business Function
Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Deploy isolated, distributed and chained applications on Kubernetes environment (Any Kubernetes ecosystem), highly desirable experience in deploying Hadoop Stack/Kafka/Spark/Trino and other distributed data applications on Kubernetes
• Self-starter, ability to leverage the existing POC environment/Playground to get up to speed and add to overall delivery
• Basic understanding of Agile/Sprint based working model
• Interpret and troubleshoot around basics of Linux ecosystem
• Able to demonstrate and utilize the understanding around Distributed systems(Preferably MPP systems, Distributed databases, Spark Execution Engine).
Requirements
• Should have 10+ Years of experience with a bachelor's degree. Hands on experience of at least 3-5+ years with working with Trino/Presto, Spark , Hive with S3 as storage.
• Hands on experience developing applications using Java.
• Good knowledge working and debugging with Kubernetes
• Hands on experience writing docker files for the developed applications from scratch.
• Testing experience of isolated, distributed and chained applications on Kubernetes environment (Any Kubernetes ecosystem), like testing Hadoop Stack/Kafka/Spark/Trino and other distributed data applications on Kubernetes.
• Integration/Performance/Chaos/Stress/Load testing experience of distributed application on Kubernetes .
• Hands on experience doing Smoke/Performance/Load/Stress/Chaos testing for developed applications.
• Experience coding with Python
