Job purpose
This position will be responsible for end-to-end strategy and execution of Technology Learning programs at DBS Tech India, helping deliver our Tech EVP to all employees, in line with our vision of implementing World-class Engineering practices.
A significant part of the agenda would include overseeing delivery of our award-winning campus hire Tech Immersion program at scale and quality and overseeing completion of DBS Tech Academy learning roadmaps.
Must be a seasoned facilitator (technology facilitation preferred but not essential), comfortable delivering to very large audiences. Must be comfortable operating and collaborating in a fast-paced tech startup-like culture.
Will help drive the 'Future of Learning' agenda, by fostering a culture of continuous learning using digital-age learning practices.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Below are the list of roles and responsibilities (but not limited to):
Learning Business Partner
• Partners effectively with HR and business stakeholders including senior leaders, to deliver business value through learning programs
• Conducts annual and on-going Technology training needs assessment with BU Heads / HRBPs, ensuring business outcomes and outcome metrics are defined at the start where possible
• Proposes outcome-focused learning solutions with objectives and mode of delivery (Blended / Online / Classroom)
• Oversees procurement and vendor management for own solutions if applicable (with dedicated procurement and vendor management team)
• Interacts with internal SMEs and external trainers to design the curriculum; course and assessments (formative and summative)
• Manages the learning journeys and learner experience; governs the completion of all DBS Tech Academy Learning Roadmaps ( courses, badges, certifications)
• Oversees execution of the award-winning Campus Hire Onboarding program
• Manages, coaches and develops L&D Program Manager for Campus Hire Onboarding Program
• Innovates to make learning joyful and impactful
• As a senior team member, brings in industry perspectives, trends, best practices, works actively to change the game
• Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophy of DBS
Facilitation (In person, Virtual & Hybrid)
• Facilitate New Employee Orientation along with senior team members and leaders
• Facilitate the Campus Hire Onboarding Program and other allied programs
• Facilitate Townhalls
• Design and deliver custom solutions in Professional/Leadership Development/Domain/Technical (in consultation with the Vendor Partners where required)
Learning Operations & Governance
• Vendor Management (empanelment, identification, evaluation, purchase order-invoice-payment governance)
• Evangelize digital learning through all learning solutions offered (Self-Service)
• Work closely with all internal teams for the smooth execution of training programs
• Ensure training records; budgets are updated for audits and metrics reported monthly
• Explore automation, data-driven and digital approaches to augment learning operations
Qualification / Skills
• Graduate/Post-Graduate with a minimum of 10 years in learning and talent development
• Perpetual learner, continuously invests in self-development
• Experience in conducting Training Needs Analysis and carrying out all activities in the Training Cycle: Identify, Design, Deliver, Evaluate
• Hands-on in Content Curation, exposure to digital learning ecosystems
• Excellent Classroom Management and Facilitation Skills delivering programs
• Ability to manage vendor relationship including vendor cost and KPI management
• Communicate effectively at all levels (both internally and externally); ability to work and influence Team members/ Stakeholders across different sites globally
• Analyze large volume of data points, identifying issues and recommend solutions (good command over MS Excel)
• Superior judgment, diplomacy, and tact, with a willingness to speak up amid adversity
Preferred but not Mandatory
• Working knowledge of data & analytics tools such as Qlikview/Power BI/Google Data Studio/Tableau
• Working knowledge of eLearning Development Platforms like Articulate, Captivate, etc.
• Certified Practitioner in Technologies or Psychometric tools
Physical requirements
The position is in Hyderabad with no / limited travel.
Direct reports
It is a supervisory role. In addition, training executive/s will provide support to help execute the training charter in few areas of Learning Operations & Governance
