The person will be responsible for test automation using BDD in response to business problems The Collateral domain covers a variety of existing systems and green-field projects. In this role you will be primarily responsible for design, development of functional & E2E automation test scenarios for the business features using BDD, working in close collaboration with BAs / POs (to clarify requirements) and other development teams. You are expected to plan and estimate for the testing efforts. You are also expected to contribute in end-to-end QA delivery, right from the requirements analysis , design discussions, scenario creation + automation, test execution and result reporting. You are expected to be able to work independently requiring minimal technical/tool guidance and technically guide and mentor junior members in the team You are also expected to mentor all developers in the team to help them onboard to the automation framework / tools Contribute to analysis for new business requirements Contribution to continuous improvement as part of DevOps implementation Work with peer teams to deliver successfully on integration points Participate in production issues investigation and resolution Your skills and experience Well versed and experienced with Selenium, Cucumber framework Experience with TDD, BDD methodology Experienced in planning, defining test scenarios and automate the same Experienced in Java 8, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Messaging services, UNIX. Good understanding of SQL and experience in writing complex SQL queries. Experience in testing/automating systems with complex and huge data volumes. Working knowledge of Python and Java with SPARK will be an added advantage. Jira, Confluence, Git, Maven, Teamcity/Jenkins, Artifactory, Experience working on microservices architecture Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment Strong analytical and design skills Proficient communication skills (written/verbal) Experience with Google
