Assistant Vice President, React JS Lead, Consumer Banking & Core Engine
Business Function
Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Should Have a continuous improvement mindset.
• Take part in software design activities & discussions.
• Write production quality code.
• Experience in Bank / Financial Institution Systems would be favourable
• Should have know how on Security Aspects
• Hands on with React JS, Redux, HTML5, CSS, JS (ES5+), TS and unit testing framework like Jest, Enzyme
• Should have good understanding on TypeScript fundamental and well verse with VS Code
• Should have good understanding of Jenkins and equivalent CICD
• Should be good at React component design (styled component etc) with mobile first approach
• Knowledge of Web design principals and application interface guidelines
• Knowledge of interfacing with backend Microservice integration and effective use of network APIs
• Good to have an understanding on Hybrid Mobile Application development or hands-on on any of iOS/Android native application development
Requirements
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related subject with 10+ Years of experience into application development.
• Comfortable with practicing TDD and pair programming.
• Well versed in DevOps.
• Good knowledge on Object Oriented design principles.
• Hands on experience with Object Oriented programming.
• Hands on experience with Sprint and/or Spring Boot is a big plus.
• Experience in agile software development
• Knowledge on Linux is a plus.
• Knowledge on cloud platforms is a plus.
