Business Function
Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Roles & Responsibilities
• CBG BA Reporting & Analytics Team Lead - Lead the Reporting team under central Business Analytics team responsible for business reporting using SAS and Python, support for SAS platform and SAS migration activities.
• Hiring and On-boarding - Hiring, systems & access set up, arranging staff training and setting up working processes to ensure ongoing engagement with the onshore team.
• Implement the controls and governance – Monitoring team deliverables to enable proactive action to ensure quality outputs and issue resolution.
• Drive ongoing focus on process improvement & optimization – Continue to find ways to streamline, automate and optimize processes
• Management of centralized data assets – Maintain and some minor enhancements to key data assets used across BA team
• Staff Management – Manage and lead the Reporting function including, training, motivating and managing staff to meet the team delivery requirements
Requirements
• Previous experience in team management, onboarding, leading and developing people
• 10+ years of experience in data analytics & data processing and experience in banking using Python, Py-spark
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries
• Knowledge of BI and analytical tools such as SAS, Python, QV
• Knowledge of data architecture – Teradata, Hadoop, S3
• Strong process management capabilitiy: evaluates, designs, executes, measures, monitors and controls business processes
• Excellent interpersonal and organization skills, clear communicator
• Results oriented focus, analytical mindset with innovative thinking
