Business Function
Global Transaction Services (GTS) is a product group focused on the management and sale of Cash Management, Trade Finance, and Securities & Fiduciary products and services to institutional clients.
Job Purpose: Lead origination of new clients, cross-selling, and portfolio growth for Trade Finance and Cash Management solutions, focusing on digital offerings for the Public Sector Unit (PSU) segment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow existing customer portfolio.- Acquire new business and expand market share.- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Relationship Managers, Product Teams, Implementation, Service, Operations, Legal & Compliance, and overseas branches).- Maintain a strong risk/credit mindset; manage portfolio risks, select clients prudently, and ensure compliance.- Build client relationships, emphasizing digital solutions.- Manage sales pipeline effectively.- Analyze, maintain, and disseminate key performance indicators (KPIs).- Develop and maintain a high-quality customer service model.- Identify and address system and process gaps.- Conduct post-implementation reviews.
Required Experience: 8-15 years in banking, preferably in operations, risk, or business control.
Preferred Qualifications: CA or MBA.

Technical/Market Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of Trade Finance & Cash Management products, compliance, and tax implications.- Knowledge of front and back-office processes.- Understanding of customer needs and market trends (North India, Delhi NCR, Tier 2 cities).- Familiarity with RBI regulations, FEMA, UCP, URDG, etc.
Technical Competencies:
- Sound knowledge of local and international trade regulations.
Work Relationships:
- Close collaboration with Business unit RMs, Technology & Operations, Credit, Legal & Compliance, and Finance.
