Job Title: Assitant Video Editor
Key Responsibilities:
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Video editing background Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After effects & Photoshop.
• Good understanding of film grammar - soundscapes, visuals, shot-types.
• Strong understanding of digital video content, best practices.
• Creative mind and storytelling skills
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
• Manipulate and Edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
• Able to understand visual storyboard and paper edit
• Strong understanding of Telugu, Hindi & English languages
• Understanding of modern day Aesthetics and ownership to deliver a great output
• Work to a brief, and maybe an outline of footage and/or a shot list, Script or Screenplay
• Assemble raw footage, with camera shots, either recorded or transferred onto video tape in preparation for inputting into the computer
• Input uncut rushes and sound and synchronize and store them into files on the computer
• Digitally cut files to put together the sequence of the film and decide what’s usable
• Create a “rough cut” (or assemble edit) of the programme /film and determine the exact cutting for the next and final stages
• Recorder and fine-tune the content to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the film/video
• Oversee the quality and progress of audio and video engineering and editing
• Experiment with styles and techniques, including the design of graphic element
• Write voiceover/commentary
• Suggest or select music
• Carry out online editing and depending on your role you may also finalize technical aspects such as correcting faulty footage, grading and coloring and adding special effects.
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience
• Strong knowledge of After Effects
• Knowledge of After Premiere and Photoshop is must & plus
• Able to understand various editing formats and codecs such as Vertical, Horizontal.
• A keen eye for detail and a critical mind
• Creativity and a passionate interest in sports and video editing
• Patience and Concentration
• The ability to listen to others and to work well as part of a team.
• A high level of self motivation, commitment and dedication
• Organizational and time management skills
• The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Communication skills both written & oral ( Hindi/English)
