Hybrid Working

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We’re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time i.e., will have a start and end date.

Introduction

Central Framework and Remediation, as part of Chief Controls Office, partners with Trading, Distribution and other key stakeholders across the three lines of defence to design, develop, implement and maintain an efficient and effective control environment across our Markets business

What will you be doing?

Candidate is expected to deliver but are not limited to:
• Assist the Markets, Banking and Treasury desks to comply with the Volcker regulation by guiding them with Desk Procedures, assisting in modifying the exemptions that desks require for Volcker rule and performing the supervisory responsibilities.
• Ensure timely resolution of issues by liaising with functions such as Market Risk, Finance, Compliance and Business Management teams.
• Performing a refresh of Authorized Products for all the in-scope desks.

What we’re looking for:
 4-8 years of Investment Banking experience
 Knowledge of Sharepoint administration
 Excellent Eye for Detail
 Excellent communication skills
 Excellent in Power point presentations and advance Microsoft Excel
 Flexible to work long hours when required
 Excellent VBA / SQL skills
 Excellent Analytical Skills
 Aptitude for self-learning
 Thorough Working Experience of Capital Markets and Operational Risk process
 Excellent understanding of the financial products across business (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives)
 Ambitious and Proactive in nature. Should be able to take quick decisions
 Should be an Excellent Team player

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Prior work experience in investment banking division of a bank focused on risk and control function
• Prior experience in data analytics, data visualisation, VBA or python programming is desirable
