Position : warehouse leader(Asst. Manager)

Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Engineering/any science graduate
Experience: 8 - 15 years of experience in the warehousing in Leadership role in similar business.
Technical Knowledge:
Good knowledge of warehousing management of incoming and outgoing material so as to
ensure preservation and damage free storage and storage
Knowledge of FIFO for shelf life items and action to initiate on expired / non moving parts,
knowledge of ISO 9001-2000 procedures for warehousing, so that the same can be
implemented as per the procedure written in our Quality Manual.
Knowledge of Government regulations on warehousing and storage of various hazardous
items like gases, petrol, diesel etc.,
Knowledge on cycle stock count
Computer knowledge and Analytical skills for various documentation and MIS report
requirement.
Skills & Competencies
Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with
all internal and external contacts.
Ability to interact effectively with Customers, Peers, employees across the levels.
Ability to handle difficult situations & conversations professionally and amicably.
Position Summary:
To feed the businesss operational and customer demand, receiving the input material for
manufacturing, warehousing planning and storage, issuing for production and receiving,
warehousing and shipping of finished goods, so as to ensure warehousing and inventory
management with stock accountability.
Essential Functions:
Warehouse location leader is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a material, ensuring that goods are stored, handled, and shipped efficiently and effectively. He / She is also responsible for cash flow by ensuring inventory management.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Responsible for all material receipt, accounting, and storage in line with Parker policies.
• Responsible for all material issues from warehouse, in line with Parker policies.
• Accounting material receipts and issues in JDE and ensuring inventory accounting and
• balancing.
• Ensure proper 5S at of warehouses.
• Best utilization of availability of space for storage and stacking, storage and stowage / plans accordingly in line with MSDS.
• Strategize and improvise on warehousing solutions for optimum utilization of space and
• reduction of operational lead time.
• Supervise all receiving and shipping activities to as to ensure on time delivery to internal and external customers to meet production and sales targets
• Carry out regular cycle counts and checks of input and output material to ensure inventory
• accuracy and DSI plan
• Documentation and accountability of Job work materials and rubber compound rubber
• management
• Ensure material management to have material consumed within the shelf life of the product
• Ensure all the inventory transaction performed are updated in the ERP system before the
• physical transaction of the material.
• Coordinate closely with procurement, production and sales team for effective movement of material.
• Be proactive and give alert to purchase to maintain safety stocks to avoid stock out situation
• To send material to vendors for Job Work process
• Operate FIFO of Input material and Finished Goods
• Packing, invoicing and shipping of Finished Goods
• Keep accountability of Customer rejection material
• Work closely with Planner to maintain KANBAN Inventory of input material and Finished
• goods
• Responsible for Inventory management and cash flow for the location by ensuring Inventory / DSI and cash flow plan is met
