About the job:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Interaction & Communication: Assist in communicating with hosts, their families, and vendors to ensure alignment on the event details.
2. Vendor Coordination: Help in sourcing, negotiating, and managing relationships with vendors, including florists, caterers, venues, decorators, and photographers.
3. Event Preparation: Aid in the creation and maintenance of timelines, budgets, seating charts, and other planning tools.
4. Logistics & Execution: Support the lead planner in organizing and executing wedding day logistics, ensuring everything runs smoothly from setup to breakdown.
5. On-Site Support: Be present on the day of the event to assist with setup, coordinate with vendors, manage the timeline, and troubleshoot any last-minute issues.
6. Client Consultation: Participate in meetings with clients, offering ideas and suggestions to elevate the event.
7. Administrative Support: Maintain organization by keeping track of contracts, invoices, payments, and other important documentation.
8. Creative Input: Provide creative ideas for themes, decor and event design that align with the host's vision.
