Role Purpose
To lead through Redcape’s purpose, values and behaviours to deliver on our key performance metrics.
To support your Venue Manager in building, coaching and developing a skilled, capable and motivated venue team that delivers extraordinary customer experiences and drives venue performance.
Duties, Responsibilities & Expectations
You would work closely with the Venue Leadership Team, who are responsible for the day-to-day running of the hotel, driving performance, delivering key initiatives, and creating a great experience for both our guests and team.
The key responsibilities for this role will include:
Lead a variety of internal teams and own all operations—from exceptional front-of-house experiences to back-office systems and reporting.
Maintaining high standards across the venue, including presentation and cleanliness
Creating a positive, inclusive team environment where people feel supported and motivated
Working a rotating roster across opens, mids, closes, weekends and public holidays in line with trading hours. For more information, visit our website: www.gladstonehotel.com.au
What we’re looking for:
A genuine passion for hospitality and people
A confident, hands-on leader who enjoys being on the floor and part of the team
Someone who takes pride in creating great guest experiences and a positive team culture
Proven supervisory or leadership experience is essential — you’ll be ready to step in, lead from the front, and hit the ground running
Current RSA, RCG & ARCG (or willingness to obtain)
