The TIBCO CloudTM Integration enterprise integration platform-as-a-service (iPaaS) accelerates the integration process. Using any integration style, it provides self-service integration capabilities that empowers anyone to quickly and easily connect information assets no matter where they are. Role Overview
As a DevOps Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to design and develop Deployment tools and CI/CD workflows, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the integration platform (TIBCO Cloud Integration). You are a self-driven, enthusiastic Devops Engineer with a continuous learning mindset, a passion for technology, and a can-do positive/proactive attitude Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential. You will take on a critical technical role in the creation of several crucial components that make up our signature offering. Your expertise and dedication will be integral to the success of our product.
Responsibilities
• Create efficient deployment tools and automated workflows supporting development through testing and staging deployments
• Analyse, troubleshoot and fix failures and issues in "build - test - deploy" CI/CD pipelines
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes to enable code deploys multiple times in a day through clean automation scripts to make release processes more efficient.
• Communicate and collaborate with a co-located and distributed team of architects, developes, QA engineers, and SRE to resolve issues and provide status updates
• Follow best practices in areas like security, performance and cost efficiency when working on developing the workflows.
Job Requirements/Qualifications
• Minimum BS in Computer Science orSoftware Engineering with 3+ years of industry experience in Devops area.
• Strong working knowledge in Python, Shell scripting and at least one programming language, Java/C/C++
• Experience with Linux and Linux based operating systems.
• Experience with continuous integration tools(at least one, TeamCity preferred): Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo, Travis CI.
• Experience with virtualisation, LXC and container technologies: Docker, Vagrant, CoreOs
• Experience with cloud computing and infrastructure technologies(at least one, AWS preferred): AWS, Azure, Google
• Experience with K8s, Helm Deployment, EFK stack
• Working knowledge of Restful APIs, design, development, and testing
• Experience with Git version control system and JIRA bug tracking system
• Experience with Agile / SCRUM process
• A strong proponent of DevOps practices with a passion to automate "anything" and "everything"
• Proven experience in working with cross-functional teams(architects, developers, QA, CloudOps) in an agile scrum environment
