Sourcing and developing critical data sets that support the analysis of the EM universe

Assisting in the preparation of internal and external presentation materials
Supporting the execution of outreach initiatives (e.g., with investors and intermediaries)
Ad-hoc data analysis when required
An appreciation of debt capital markets (both cross-border and domestic) and the credit rating industry with an ability to converse on technical financial issues
Solid analytical skills, intellectually curious and a desire to solve complex problems
An interest or passion for Emerging Markets
Strong communication skills, including writing skills. Fluency in written English is critical – particularly drafting and editing
Passion for data visualization and data-driven story telling
Able to form and present findings
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Highly organised and efficient, with ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
The successful candidate will likely have 2-3 years of experience within an analytical environment (e.g., rating agency, investment bank or asset manager) where they have demonstrated strong analytic skills, an appreciation of economics, accounting, modeling and valuation techniques, excellent communication and presentation skills, and strong project management capabilities. The person will have had exposure to and a good understanding of the global capital markets. Knowledge of Moody’s rating business a distinct advantage.
